The consent docket, including items A through F, was approved by the council.

Ordinance number 1055-24 was adopted, renewing an existing 1/4 of a percent sales tax for a four-year cycle, with proceeds allocated 75% to Parks and 25% to Public Works.

Resolution number 93-24 was approved, authorizing an election to submit the question of extending the existing 1/4 of 1% sales tax to registered voters.

Resolution number 94-24 was approved, authorizing an election for the issuance of General Obligation Bonds not to exceed $6,700,000 for constructing, reconstructing, improving, or repairing streets and bridges, specifically for Telephone Road.

Authorization for the execution of a special election proclamation and notice pertaining to the proposed General Obligation bond issue was approved.

Employment agreements with Chris Gander as financial advisor and Terry L Hawkins as bond counsel for the proposed General Obligation bond issue were approved.

The process for receiving applications to fill the vacant Ward 3 seat, from August 20th to August 30th, 2024, was approved.

Resolution number 87-24 was approved, programming the reconstruction of the South Sunny Lane bridge as a Surface Transportation Program urbanized area project, with an 80/20 federal match.

Resolution number 88-24 was approved, programming the realignment and widening of the Southwest 19th Street and South Broadway Avenue intersection as a Surface Transportation Program urbanized area project.

Resolution number 89-24 was approved, programming the reconstruction of North Eastern Avenue from Northeast 12th Street to Northeast 27th Street as a Surface Transportation Program urbanized area project.

Resolution number 90-24 was approved, programming the reconstruction of Northeast 27th Street from I-35 to North Eastern Avenue as a Surface Transportation Program urbanized area project.

Resolution number 91-24 was approved, programming the reconstruction of Northwest 27th Street from Hillcrest Avenue to I-35 as a Surface Transportation Program urbanized area project.

Resolution number 92-24 was approved, programming the construction of a 6-foot sidewalk along South Sunny Lane from Southeast 38th Street to Southeast 34th Street, including a pedestrian bridge.

The budgeted purchase of a 2025 E1 custom fire engine in the amount of $842,000 was approved, replacing a 2015 model.

The budgeted purchase of six sets of Morning Pride structural firefighting bunker gear for fire recruits, totaling $23,170, was approved.

Approval of the FY 23-24 budget supplement to include additional revenues from the Cleveland County Justice Authority grant and prior year sales tax collections was granted.

The Moore Public Works Authority consent docket, items A and B, was approved.

The Moore Risk Management meeting consent docket, items A and B, was approved.

Following an executive session to discuss a pending claim, the council approved a motion to proceed as directed.
