Announcements

• Utility Box Art Contest: The annual contest is underway with the theme "Stillwater Strong." Artwork submissions are due 📅 Tuesday, September 2nd, online at Stillwaterart.org or in person at the Stillwater Community Center.
• OSU Football Park and Ride Shuttle: For OSU home games, a free Park and Ride shuttle service will be available, starting three hours before games and running every 30 minutes. Pickup and drop-off is at 7th and Lewis. More information and a game day guide can be found at visitstillwater.org.
• Payne County Free Fair: The fair will run from 📅 August 25th through August 31st. City staff from various departments will be present in the community building.
• Stillwater Regional Airport Terminal Update: The new terminal is over 30% complete and is on track for completion in Fall 2026. Phase two, including the access road and roundabout, is expected to be completed in early 2026.
• Block 34 & Fire Station #2: Both facilities are now open. The inaugural Market 34 event was held recently. Fire Station #2 crews are moving equipment in and expect to provide service from the new location by the end of the month. More information at stillwaterok.gov/block34.
• The Hub Entertainment Center: This family-friendly entertainment center is on schedule to open in Fall 2025.

  • Driver Safety Reminder: Citizens are urged to be mindful of increased pedestrian traffic, stop at crosswalks, obey school zone speed limits, and not pass other vehicles in school zones. Vehicles must stop at least 20 feet before a school bus with flashing red lights.
